To reach kids, youth and families with the good news about Jesus to Port Macquarie-Hastings

THE POINT COMMUNITY CHURCH BELIEFS

We believe in:

The unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in the Godhead.
The sovereignty of God in creation, providence, revelation, redemption and final judgment.
The divine inspiration and infallibility of Holy Scripture, as originally given, and its supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
The universal sinfulness and guilt of human nature since the fall, rendering man subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.
Redemption from the guilt, penalty and power of sin, only through the sacrificial death, as our representative and substitute, of Jesus Christ, the incarnate Son of God.
The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
The necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit to make the death of Christ effective in the individual sinner, granting them repentance to God and faith in Jesus Christ.

If I am accepted as a Summerfest team member I agree that:

I have read, understood and believe the truths contained in the Summerfest beliefs. I declare that I trust in Jesus alone for my salvation. With God's help, I strive to live under the Lordship of Jesus in my day to day life.
I will work towards the Summerfest aims. I will treasure each person that attends Summerfest, modelling how God treasures them. I will come relaxed, ready to have fun and prepared to disciple each child/youth.
I will be a team player. I will enjoy, encourage and give feedback to my team mates. I will address problems and seek solutions with my team. I will also joyfully work under and support the team leaders. I will attend the main team meeting on Sunday November 3rd (Kids Club leaders) & other meetings as required.
During mession, I will be dependent on my Father in heaven and the Spirit’s work. I will pray for the kids/youth and for our team. I will give things a go, confident of God’s ability in my weakness. I will toil and strive with God’s energy powerfully working in me.
